About the Polar Conservation Organisation

The Polar Conservation Organisation (PCO) is committed to helping establish and maintain an international policy for a sustainable future of the Polar Regions. The regions of the North and South Pole have an immense impact on all living things on this planet. The Polar Regions are essential for our planet as a life force and life creating system. As such, the Polar Regions are of immense importance to our global environment and our personal lives.

This is why PCO is so strongly committed to a sustainable policy and management scheme, that includes all stakeholders.

Mission statement
The Polar Conservation Organisation (PCO) is committed to the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of relevant international framework agreements for a sustainable future of both Polar Regions.

Objectives
•To support the establishment of an Arctic Treaty by the international community, in line with the Antarctic Treaty.
•To support efforts to ensure that the existing Antarctic Treaty remains consistent and sustainable.
•To aim for a global exchange of knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the Polar Regions.•To create awareness, inform and educate the public about the Polar Regions.
