November 2009 - DMD successfully raises capital [DMD]
The E6 Ventures' portfolio company
DMD has successfully raised a round of capital from a consortium of investors (Oxford
Technology Enterprise Capital Fund, YFM & ERA Foundation). This together with the
TSB and other awards received will server to accelerate DMD's development program
to produce ultra high power and frequency RF devices. "This new investment signals
the next step for DMD. It will allow the company to progress with its plans to commercialise
its ground-breaking technology, says Brendon Grunewald, head of E6 Ventures.

March 2009 - E6 Ventures invests in Group 4 Labs [Group 4 Labs]
E6 Ventures has made
an investment in the US based company, Group 4 Labs, a fabless "extreme materials"
startup company that develops and markets unusual semiconductor materials for use
in various markets including wireless components, biotech devices, weather and communications
satellite/radar components, UV/blue/green laser diodes, consumer electronics, solid-state
lighting, and others. Brendon Grunewald will represent E6 Ventures on the G4L board
of directors.
November 2008 - BAE Systems invests in E6 Ventures porfolio company DDL [DDL]
BAE
Systems has made an investment in the UK based E6 Ventures portfolio company Diamond
Detectors Ltd (DDL). “We welcome on board a strategic investor that has a requirement
for the products under development at Diamond Detectors Ltd,” says Brendon Grunewald,
Head of E6 Ventures. “This second round of funding will support the company as it
moves into full product commercialisation.”

November 2008 - E6 Ventures invests in Diamond Hard Surfaces [DHS]
E6 Ventures has
made an investment in the UK based company, Diamond Hard Surfaces, an innovative
supplier of thick, hard, diamond like carbon (DLC) coatings. “We were impressed with
the properties which Diamond Hard Surfaces’ material offered, since it puts the company
in a unique space in the coatings sector. We are very excited about the opportunities
this presents,” says Brendon Grunewald, Head of E6 Ventures on its investment.
March 2008 - Channel M raises capital from Intel [Channel M]
Channel M, a leading
out-of-home video advertising company, today announced it has completed Series C
financing from Intel Capital. Funding will be used to expand Channel M’s digital
content distribution network, as well as expand the sales and marketing infrastructure.
