In August 2002 IceVista was hired to analyse the investment opportunity and validate the business plan by Siemens who was considering a strategic investment in a new wireless company. Following the analysis IceVista was hired to develop the entire Go-To-Market strategy, and set about setting up the company, Sinfilo. In October 2002 Sinfilo secured funding and IceVista’s Brendon Grunewald was selected to serve as CEO and member of the board. Under IceVista's leadership the company grew to become one of the biggest and best known PWLAN operators in Europe (Brainheart Capital). In mid-2003 IceVista given a sole mandated by Sinfilo’s shareholders to find and negotiate a sale to a strategic acquisition partner. In October 2003 Sinfilo was acquired by Telenet, Belgium's largest cable operator in October 2003 in a deal that benefited all stakeholders, and IceVista was contracted to oversee the integration, and lead in the development of several new product strategies.
IceVista was engaged to develop and help execute a growth and funding strategy. As a result Instruxion secured an initial investment of Euro 1.5M, and the company was repositioned for strategic growth. Following the investment, IceVista was asked by the shareholders to remain an advisor and Brendon Grunewald was elected to the Board of Directors. Instruxion is profitable, well positioned for growth, and has subsequently been able to raise capital to fund new growth developments.
IceVista was engaged to perform a growth and funding strategy review and provide on-going strategic advice to Lumitrend. Following a strategic review and subsequent repositioning of the company s products and services, Lumitrend successful received Term Sheets for investment from two Top Tier silicon valley VC's, and was ultimately sold to Asurion, the largest cell phone handset insurer in the US.
